Welcome to my place!

I am a project assistant professor in the Coastal Disaster Lab at the Disaster Prevention Research Institute of Kyoto University. I am currently working with Dr. Nobuhito Mori, studying the effects of green infrastructures (esp. mangrove-type vegetation) on the reduction of coastal disasters.

My research interests mainly involved in coastal engineering and nearshore hydrodynamics. I work towards a better understanding of the nearshore processes caused by ocean waves/flows, and aim to provide a better solution to the reduction of coastal hazards. More details of my research work can be found here.
